PLANKTON

PLANKTON The word plankton comes from the Greek πλαγκτόν [plankton], and means that which wanders. These microorganisms that inhabit the seabed are among the few living creatures that cannot move on their own, but are carried along by ocean currents.

Plankton is a dance piece with a strong immersive character. It is a multidisciplinary performance experience that takes plankton as inspiration and uses body and movement to invite us into a world where everything is possible. A world where all that is small takes on great relevance. A world where bodies emit light and remain in suspension. The performance asks us about the relationship that we as humans have with the tiny creatures that live under water and wants to highlight the idea that small things (and small beings, such as children) are fundamental to life.

Plankton is designed for all audiences. In case of performances for families, the recommended age is 5 years and up, and for school performances, the recommended ages are between 7 and 9 years old.
